Caroline Hoste’s company Hello Stranger Creative arranged for DJ Flux Pavilion to remix the theme tune for the new Star Wars Rebels TV Series, which debuted October, 2014 on Disney XD.

From a home in the middle of the woods outside Qualicum Beach, a veteran insider of the U.S. music industry nurtures her child, her garden, her fruit trees – and an international business that integrates brands and music.

2014 also marked the third year Hello Stranger hosted the Saguaro Desert Weekender, a series of popular music-based poolside parties at The Saguaro Hotel Palm Springs that coincided with one of the world’s largest music festivals: Coachella.

It’s a demanding, non-stop industry that sees Caroline frequently in the air and in Las Angeles. People ask her if she doesn’t need to be in LA or New York to run her business but she says she gets the perspective and balance she needs from her home 15 minutes outside Qualicum Beach.

“Living in the Parksville-Qualicum Beach region of B.C. is the best way for me to stay healthy, to be a focused leader in my company, be a good mother and be fair to myself,” says Caroline. She says her friendships in the community, the availability of locally grown, organic food, and the proximity to nature are all important to her.

“Spending time in nature is sacred. Here it’s literally right outside your door. Living here is more than a dream for me.”
